And all this without me ever saying a word. It is like the sun has come out. Not sure it will change anything, but it is a relief to not be privately pounding my head against a wall.
I know the feeling. I felt like that when my father finally managed to alienate everyone among his family and friends except his wife, who's just as bad.

This made me giggle. I didn't realize email's considered old-fashioned.
LOL! He won't use social media (yet frequently asks me to link stuff to his friends using my accounts) and (the most annoying to me!) absolutely will not text in spite of having a minimal number of free texts monthly available on his account. Until our provider could no longer program it into the network about two years ago, he was using a cell phone from 1999 that was larger than most people's landline phones.
