We woke this AM to some snow. Maybe 6 inches, so not a lot. But enough for me to fire up the snowblower and get cracking.

Not really. This thing is so old, it's one solid mass of scars.

It's just a reminder of how "They don't make 'em like they used to".
Metal gears and steel body make all the difference.
I suspected during this retelling that somehow, the ancient snowblower would be fine. How is the not-so-ancient Bob?

I've got custody of a 1947 tractor at the moment, and that beast is indestructible. It doesn't even blink at things that would kill my Subaru dead. Old technology kicks ass.
