I have seen this before, and it makes me weep like a baby with a massive grin on my face feeling all happy about the world. So i think its ok that you get sentmental about it :P there is another story and i will see if i can find it about an american couple who raised a baby orangutan in the mid 70's and released it back into Borneo (home ranges more or less). They were there about 5 years later vising friends when this ape comes running out of the woods and picks them up and hugs them, literally. They were terrified until they found out who it was and the animal was constantly making sounds (not very common for this species) and alternating between moving around franticaly and touching them to picking them up and hugging them, its amazing
