Yes- we do write because we have to. Some ppl think I'm nuts, or they think books are boring or writing is a waste of time. I can't get away from it though. I have to write, all the time, whenever I can.

I haven't taken level 1 before, only 3...and that was 5 years ago! :) From what I hear, you're going about it the right way; going to classes geared towards taking the test rather than just trying to cram kanji on your own. Have you taken level 2?

Pretty much everything on the master list averages around 5000 words, so it shouldn't take months! A few of my readers read most of Full Circle in a single sitting. (Although this is something I couldn't do myself).

Full Circle is gorgeous. Well written, and touching on some of the things that I think need more explanation, too. The Cloud/Marlene/Barret chapter is a favorite, as is Preludes to War.

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you liked "Preludes"- it's so different from the other chapters. Most people seem confused by it, probably because it refers to DoC so much.

Random question: How did you come up with your user name?

That could be... I played DoC, though, during my "must learn everything about FFVII" phase, so I had no trouble. (^_^)

My user name? It's something I've had for almost eleven years now. When I first started writing fanfic it was for Rurouni Kenshin, so I wanted an RK-related name. And I didn't want to use Kaoru or Megumi as there were going to be a million of them if there weren't already. Sekihara Tae runs the local restaurant in the manga and in the anime. She's female, there's a connection to the series, but she's neither glamorous or particularly important so I figured it was a safe choice. And I patterned my website after a restaurant (with menus and waiters and stuff). It was cute eleven years ago, but kind of dated now, sadly. I should really update.
