First Oath

Did my first oath (which is a suggested part of the Dedicant's Path) tonight at the Three Cranes Grove Druid Moon. I offered to Saraswati and asked her to guide me before hand since see had been coming through strong lately and had seemed to have been taking special interest when I had my membership ceremony.

A good oath, indeed.

I never put on bug spray there; I find that most bugs will leave you alone if you don't offend them with your smell. Of course, I spend a lot of time in the smoke, too, when I'm down there.

Though there was one bug, that decided to crawl right down the back of my neck while you were giving your oath. With one hand on your shoulder and the other on the sickle, I couldn't move to smack it. But it didn't bite me. It just crawled around.

Sounds good. Let us know how things go... I'm tempted to tear appart your oath word by word insisting that you don't have to be afraid of um... gods and devils and stuff and then lecture you about rational self interest. LOL But I'm not that much of a jerk. *hugs* You know your journey, and you're walking it. You could be like me and worship my cat! Oath to my cat now!
