Expensive Weekend...

Last weekend was an expensive weekend... I bought a vacuum - Dyson DC14 Animal - a new receiver - Onkyo SR502 - and a new DVD player. I also ordered a futon, which should be ready tomorrow.

Tonight is Swing Dancing again - it should be a lot of fun :) Gypsy_Kitty will I be seeing you there? If anyone else is interested, it'd be great to see you there!

You bought the vacuum cleaner I want .. wanna bring it over so I can give it a test run on all the animal hair in my apartment? *laugh*

I won't be dancing tonight .. woke up this morning with the start of a virus of some sort (sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, blech) .. my plan for tonight is to:

a) not spread germs to others who may not want them

b) drink lots of chicken soup and kick this before it gets a foot-hold and makes me truly miserable

c) cuddle my attention starved cats before they decide to smother me in my sleep

Sure - I'll bring it over some time if you would like... My schedule this week is pretty busy - my parents are coming in tomorrow, so I'm cleaning before dancing tonight. I have a friend from out of town coming in on Friday and staying the weekend, so that's sort of shot too. How about next Tuesday? I can head over to your place after work, we can play with the vacuum, then head out dancing.

*after seeing links* EEP! Yeah I'd say it was an expensive weekend. Your bank is probably going to be calling you and making sure those weren't unauthorized transations doing that all in one weekend. *envisions citibank idenity theft commercial of some squeaky voiced young girl coming out of you talking about how she decked out her crib* heheheheheheheheeheehehehehehehe

You'll have to forgive me, but by the time I finish meeting tonight, and get there, it'd probably be over, and most definitely past my bed time, so I don't think I'll be able to go swing dancing as usual. But eventually I'll teach you 'The Larry'. Wish I knew if the Carnation Gardens still did swing dancing on friday evenings. Grrr, website doesn't say. *throws fruit loops at website*

Yup, unfortunately none of the flights would get you here in time for dancing either...

Yeah and it is rather tiring on the wings to fly for that long. Its rough being 6" tall. Plus you have to be on the look out for birds of prey. It dangerous being a silly little pixie. :p
