I JUST finished reading it too. I loved it actually, but probably because I am not an avid scifi reader.
I am curious what you think about her throwing in the word BITCH in all caps toward the end when Bellatrix Lestrange and Holly Weasley dueled? Kinda took me by surprise... isn't this supposed to be a children's novel??
Loved Snape... thought he was probably one of the best developed characters in the whole book. And I agree that the "anticipation" tactics of describing someone before naming them was overused in the book.
I did not cry, but several did in the end when they described their children nineteen years later. I rather enjoyed it though. It gave it a "life goes on" kind of feel.
