I voted we should try to get the picture because if we don't get enough money for that or if we get more than enough we can always give the money to charity as originaly planned. Best of both worlds I suppose. :)

Good point! I hadn't thought of it that way. I too would like to try for that picture because I think it's a nice picture where they seem pretty happy to be together. :)

Unfortunately, I think that was the only group picture that was made available. I'm not sure if there are any others that we just haven't found though.

K, is the quality a little funky because it's been de-tagged (or do Joey and Justin really look all squinty like that??)? That's my only concern. My expectation would be that the original would be crystal clear, with no funny faces!

I'd like the extra money to go to charity because I'd really like to keep the whole "Fan Appreciation" thing totally fan 'contented / contributed' and not use a 'commercial' photo from a company that is taking money from us to use one of their stock photos. It's from the fans, dude. All of us.

Ooh, I see your point about keeping it all fan-related. But I think I'd rather have a really good picture of them than not. I really want the ad to look the best it can (which is not to say you don't, obviously *g*) and I think I'm willing to sacrifice the 100% fan-content for the sake of aesthetics.

Has anyone thought of maybe combining five good single pics into one [tasteful and well done] composite or collage.
There are probably a ton of awesome individual shots from the fans that could be put together.
(I'd love do it if anyone would be interested in seeing what that would look like.)

I think that's a really nice idea, if there were enough fan pictures from Challenge 05. I wouldn't like the idea of combining fan pics from events where they weren't really all together, though.

I'll donate... don't know why I hadn't yet... guess I didn't realize what this was really about. But way cool, the emotion and anticipation of the probable impact is def. overwhelming. YOU are amazing for having and initiating the idea.

Where are we at, right now, with the bank transfer PayPal account? Is there enough room to get another $300 through there or will bank funds have to be transferred to one of the personal accounts after a few transactions?
