Are you sure? My company distributes Billboard to Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc. and we just received the December 10th issue yesterday for release to stores today. We show the Dec. 17th issue scheduled to go on-sale 12/18. (I checked my comp. copy that arrived today and it was the 12/10 issue.)

I was told by the advertising people at Billboard that the Dec. 17th issue would be on the stands on the 10th. Errors could have been made, I'm sure - erk. That's not good.

Odd. I'm looking at the issue we invoiced yesterday and it's definitely not the December 17th issue.

Well, regardless, it will be here within a week. *g*

any idea who is on the cover? I was in Virgin today but I figured it wasn't until next week's issue so i didn't ven look at it. I'll run back tonight if I know it's the right one.

I'm not sure - look at the date on the magazine. If it says December 17th, that's the one you want.

I'm confused.I just ordered mine from billboard.com for $6.99 and then $2.00 shipping and handling? Did I not order the right one?

I was told it would be $12.99 and $3 for s/h if you called and ordered it. Maybe it's cheaper if you order it online.

okay, silly question. I'm in friggin' chestertown. I can't exactly buy it here. I'll be in NYC on the 17th. um. do you think it'll be sold out by then?

The next issue would be released on the 17th so it's possible that it will be sold out or already replaced with the new issue. If you went to a Barnes and Noble they might have the old ones in the back or something.

No, they don't keep them. Policy is to rip the cover off to send back for credit and then they toss them.
