That post should explain everything! I use MacFlac, but that's for Macs. You could also do a google search and find something that works with your operating system!
I'm gonna get at least JMs track sometime this week. If you still don't have it, let me know.
I missed John on the tsunami benefit, =( curious to see how his energy was. The VR show was definitely a different evergy than the NY shows at Webster, from what I heard on the recordings. He was definitely up and in performance mode in NY it sounded like. Can't help it with the crows energy the way it was, I'm sure.
The Viper room was really more of a jam session feeling. The crowd was relatively mellow, but still realy into it. Maybe because it was half industry people and musicians, maybe because it was after midnight, maybe a combination of a bunch of things. But I loved it. It's cool to hear it now that I'm a little more familiar with his stuff. I don't remember him talking as much that night, but then, I didn't know him from Adam, I was drunk, and I got so into the music (which rarely happens to me, I'm a HUGE lyric/melody person) I probably could have given a shit whether or not he was talking. That was a fantastic evening.
