Literature entry week 6~

I really enjoyed this weeks tutorial :) 
The story we looked at  "Breaking Tradition" by Janice Mirikitani. 
It was very fascinating how she described the 3 generations and described the diversity of the cultures. 
Being Japanese American...( I wish I was like that, but Japanese Australian :P)

Hey, I liked you poems, they kept me interested throughout. Just wondering if Sue was having an identity crisis that may be connected with Multi-Australian heritage? Or were you (as the author) having trouble connecting to her, as different cultures struggle at times, understanding eachother. I'm familiar with 'Saving Face' & 'Kiazoo', within cultures. You've touched on that nicely.

Yes, I (being the author) was having big problems relating to sue. (but her real name isn't sue so yeah)
I don't quiet understand what you meant by "saving face & kiazoo", could you please explain? Because it sounds interesting....
