Protecting the organics of this vessel is one of my main priorities. Now that I am fully armed, I will be able to do so once more unless the Captain deems it necessary to make me human again.

I was not on board before when this began, but considering my primary function is to protect, I will not be working against you.

A former passenger named Godric set it up. It exists--though it hasn't been mobilized yet--to stem the chaos that occurs when large scale problems happen. Its aim is to protect the passengers and the ship, preferably through solving the problem as quickly and painlessly as possible.

It may be best to just defer to how Godric announced it.
