I just realized, upon reading my friends page this morning, that I haven't posted in a week or so. If this LJ thing is going to do me any good, I've got to stick to it, even if I don't have much constructive to say. The job hunt continues to go poorly, and I need to try to lift my spirits by distracting myself.

That's a lot to digest. Good tidbits in there. I ought to think about doing something like that myself. But sometimes it's amazingly hard to think about details of yourself and your life that your friends wouldn't know.

I'm not a big Barry Manilow fan, but I acknowledge his contributions to American advertising for the last few decades.

I had similar issues with college. I had good test grades, mediocre high school grades, but I thought I had a good grasp on things when I went to college. Unfortunately I didn't do so well with English. Math, on the other hand, I did consistently well with.

I never do karaoke, and never will. That is interesting, though. I mean, if at a COJ meeting someone brought Karaoke. Maybe we could overpower the upstairs music. :)
