Geeks - help me!

Oh my f-ing god... so I am working on my friend's computer (she let her virus protection lapse ohhhh 6 MONTHS AGO!!) and had to reinstall the OS, etc. Finally got the programs loaded on it a bit ago and while it was rebooting, I got up from the couch to get some more coffee ( Read more... )

The keycaps should click back on and stay on. Sometimes you need to
move the key around a bit to make sure it is properly located before
you press it down. If it doesn't latch back on it probably means you
have damaged the metal struts that it locks onto or the plastic lugs on
the keycap are damaged.

Carefully remove another one to see. They are all different, some have little springs that you SHOULD NOT lose. Some just have a plastic clip arrangemet. Some just sit in place.

These have the little white plastic springy things. I tried to snap them back, but the plastic might be damaged because it does not line up to the grooves on the keys. DAMNIT JIM!

one of my first musical projects was call "Sexual Hurting" a play off of "Sexual Healing" but then it became "Professor Bukkake and his Sexual Hurting Orchestra"
