Not sure what the heck is up with me tonight, but for some reason it seemed perfectly natural to come home, put on some Miles Davis and start cooking. Dear god, I'm becoming my mother afterall!

Ha! No buns. I'm layin' off the *ahem* carbs....

I made a giant pot of veggie soup with everything under the sun in it (and no salt!). You know what that means! Yup, cleansin' time again. Gotta get that holiday sludge out....

Can you believe that? Whackiness for sure. it was actually fun and i don't typically like to cook alone but it was very relaxing.

I thought of you too, and maybe that is partly why I chose Miles. I remembered back to the day I went with you to visit your friends in SF, I don't remember their names but they were a couple and he was a chef...he talked about Miles being his favorite to cook too. Then we went for those crazy giant burritos. Do you remember that? Sure as shootin' doesn't seem like 10+ yrs ago huh? ;) I'll let you know about the men...if it keeps up like this, maybe we should set a date. heh

Bill and Saundra...and its been LONGER than 10 years. They will have been married ten years this year--so I think that the last time I saw you was like 12 years ago...

I love those burritos. I always get one when I go to SF.
