Hm...and what else...
I've been a fan of JE ever since 2007, I was first introduced to Kat-tun and Yamapi from my Japanese friend. Around that time I was still into D-Boyz and so I didn't care much about JE artistes when she showed me kat-tun and Yamapi. At first when I saw them I thought to myself "ew they're not even that great looking" and never bothered with them ever again. My Japanese friend gave me a copy of Kat-tun first album, I thought it was good but I would only listen to "Real Face" because...well that was the first song that I heard from them. I didn't get into JE until after seeing a fanvid of Taki and Yamapi, funny thing was that I thought Yamapi was sooo hot in that fanvid. Yet I didn't care for him when my Japanese friend showed me his "Daite Senorita" pv. LOL. So yes, I got out of my D-Boyz phase *when I was still a D-boyz fan, me and my friend would argue about who's better looking LOL, good old times*. NEWS was the very first JE group that I ever liked, at first I was a huge Yamapi fan because he caught my attention. After getting in JE, my Japanese friend gave me Kat-tun vs. NEWS Summary DVD to watch and the BTS dvd too. By that time I was only aware that Kat-tun and NEWS existed in JE, I didn't know anything about Kanjani8 or Arashi or SMAP or etc you know what I mean. Anyways, after being a fan of NEWS for quite a while, I finally got in Ryo after watching NEWS for quite some times. So I dropped Yamapi for Ryo and that's when my JE obsession started to phase out.
By the time I graduated from high school *2007* and started college, I got into kpop and was a fan of Super Junior. I really liked Super Junior, the song that got me hooked on them was "U", I still and forever will love that song from Super Junior. Anyways, as I got into Super Junior I was introduced to DBSK, I checked out some stuff from DBSK and never got into them, but wondered to myself "why is it that DBSK is more popular than Super Junior when Super Junior are better?" LOL. Oh man, do I eat my words now LOL. Anyways, when I got Super Junior, I took noticed of SNSD *my favorite kpop group* and checked out their music video "Into the new world" because of a Super Junior fan who told me about them. When I first saw the MV I thought, "it's pretty good" and then let it pass by.
After a few weeks, I went back and searched up more things on SNSD and found myself indulge in their music video "So Nyeo Shi Dae", the person that caught my attention on that MV was of course KIM TAEYEON, the first person that caught my attention on SNSD was Seohyun *makaengi!!!*, when I first saw her, I thought she was Chinese instead of Korean because of her long hair and straight fringe. Anyways, after seeing SNSD's So Nyeo Shi Dae music video, I searched up some of their lives and started to like them even MORE from that day on. I eventually found what "soompi" was and joined Soompi. There I met a lot more kpop fans who were just like me :D and so my kpop obsession started ever since then.
I eventually got out of Super Junior after they dropped their 1st album Don't Don *I think that's their first album*. After losing interest in Super Junior, I got in DBSK and started to follow them, both korean promotions and Japanese promotions, also SNSD was still playing a part in my kpop life. DBSK was the first group that I would use my money on, buying their singles, posters etc. But it was only their singles/albums and posters that I would use my money on.
As 2008 came by, DC 2008 came by as well and that was one of the day that I'll never forget as long as I'm still a SNSD fan. I tell to myself, yes it was immature of what the fanclubs did to SNSD, but then I wanted to thank them as well because that night, Sones pink lights shined only for SNSD, that basically told SNSD that Sones will forever have SNSD in their hearts. It also toughen SNSD that much more, now, no matter how much antis hates them, no matter how many rumors about the girls comes out, they still stick together and walk together as 1 with 9 members. One reason why I'm so happy for SNSD, they've been through one of the toughest moment in 2008, 2008 was the year that they gained a lot of antis internationally and in their own country. After apologizing for something that they didn't do *I honestly think that they didn't need to apologized to other fanclubs because they obviously didn't do anything wrong. Every variety show is scripted and the girls were just going with the script. Anyways, after apologizing and wrapping up their promotions for their first album, Girl's Generation, they went on a LOOOONG break with members doing solo stuff, DJing, Taeyeon came out with some OSt, JeTiHyun came out as a sub-group for awhile and stuff like that.
Anyways, so 2009 came by and SNSD came back into the kpop scene with GEE, korea's nation song and over took Korea by a storm. 2009 was the year that I lost interest in DBSK and fully focused my attention on SNSD. After coming back with Gee and winning 9 trophies on Music Bank, they went on a break for awhile and then came back with Genie which they brought the "mature/sexy" concept with them. The girls were growing up and seeing them with a concept such as that makes me go :). Anyways, they came back with Genie, after promoting Genie they went on a break and came back at the end of the year for "Music Bank end of the year" show and won the yearly trophie with Gee. That year they won at GDA for Digital Bonsang, also that year they won majority of Melon's awards. 2009 was the year that SNSD came back with a strong force and basically overtook everything.
So 2010 came and SNSD came back with Oh!, one of SNSD's songs that I'm not fond of, anyways, they came back with Oh! and won 5 weeks straight on Music Bank and ended their promotions there. When 2010 came by, I finally got back in JE artistes mainly because of Hey Say JUMP and lost all interest in kpop boy groups. I got into Hey Say JUMP because of their song Hitomi no Screen, it had a very addicting beat to it. When I first looked them up, Chinen was the first one that caught my attention the music video, I didn't care much for Yamada LOL. I knew who Hikaru and Yabu were because I was into Ya-Ya-Yah back in 2007 *I didn't know that they disbanded by the time 2007 came by, Shoon was my favorite member*. So after getting in HSJ, I told myself that I must learn all of the member's names and faces. And so I did a "HSJ STUDY SESSION", I searched for all of their videos and pictures, eventually it took me 2 days to learn all of their names and recognized each of their faces. LOL. Oh and I also knew who Takaki was because I had watched Gokusen 3 before I got into HSJ. LOL. So I was able to knock down 3 members well make that 4 since Chinen caught my attention. LOL.
Anyways, back to my SNSD, so SNSD went on a break and came back with a repackaged album Run Devil Run w/ Echo. They basically won everything in the first half of 2010, after promoting RDR, they went on a break to prepare for their Japanese showcase in August.
So...currently right now, I'm still a fan of SNSD and HEY SAY JUMP. I honestly don't know how long I'll be a fan of theirs, but yeah. SNSD is the group I love and HSJ is the group I adore. :D I can't love HSJ the same ways as I love SNSD, I guess it's because I was a fan of SNSD ever their early days *debut days* and I basically grew as a fan as they became older. But for HSJ, I barely started to become their fan in 2010, at first when I saw their pictures, I thought they were girls. NO OFFENSE TO YAMADA FANS!! LOL. But eh, now I think YAMADA is a sexy bastard...he needs to quit getting sexy LOL.
I also don't know how long I'll be a fan of YamaChii, before YamaChii I was a fan of YunJae but grew out of them after JYJ's dispute broke out. Oh and...SNSD and HSJ are the only two artistes that I'll support by buying their singles, albums and dvds. I've never bought a HSJ photobook before...I'm still thinking if I should or shouldn't, but as for SNSD, I've bought one, and I'll never regret buying it. I'm still waiting for their Arena tour to be finished and over with, and when UMJ releases it as a DVD, I'm getting first dibs on it. LOL. Same thing with HSJ's 2011 concert and their Summary 2011 concert. >.< I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!!
I'm still saving up my money to buy SNSD's "AAGG" dvd, which is like 79 bucks on YA, I'm still waiting for my two copies of HSJ's Over single to come to me, which I know for sure won't come until July something. LOL. YA is a pain in the butt when it comes to shipping, but eh, at least their stuff are much cheaper than HMV and CDJapan. KEKEKEKE.
This is an introduction about myself, I would like to see my readers comment and asks me questions, if I get enough questions, I'll post it up on another post.
