...then someone outdoes me. This guy's D&D room is seriously some hard-core D&D collecting. It looks like he has multiple copies of most of the D&D box sets.
I would unashamedly have such a room. Still too much focus on D&D and mine would have plush couches and a coffee table for dice rolling instead of an unfortable hardwood table. Envious, perhaps a little.
I sort of have the room. I have a game room set up right now, but the table is a folding table and chairs and the books and decorations aren't nearly as impressive.
I do have a bunch of boxed D&D supplements that a friend in my D&D game gave me recently including a lot of Forgotten Realms. He was hoping to convince me to run Forgotten Realms. Sadly, I can't seem to get in to reading the old source books. I do love the maps, though.
Speaking of which, are you ever able to game on weekday nights? My Monday night group has room for another. I'd like to get another player in who focuses a little more on roleplaying. The group is tilted a little too much to hack-n-slash right now. We are currently playing Savage Worlds in the Rippers! setting, a setting of 19th century monster-hunting. The game is set in Paris during the Commune of 1871.
I know the guy who wrote Rippers (he's a local). Its pretty cool. I have to decline though. My spouse has commitments three nights a week, one day is Monday so I am home with the boy. Thanks though.
