This year, I visited Johor Bahru twice: first on a Saturday afternoon, second on Boxing Day afternoon. Both times I went with my mother. Prior to these visits, I have not entered Malaysia for more than a decade, so I no longer have much recollection on what it is to pass through the CIQs

Hi, I saw your post on reservist at 121 c4i BN. Can't find much info on it online as I have my first ICT coming up next week.. can I ask you a couple of questions?

1) Is it stay in or stay out?
2) As I was from infantry, what's to be expected in this unit?

1) Depends on the CO's policy. During my time, stay in with no nights off unless granted otherwise, but if you really need it you can request via your PC or OC. But I understand that the CO has changed when I MR, so I cannot say about the new CO.
2) C4I stands for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence. The roles are quite diverse, including RSTA, signals, UAV, and others.
