The greens have many other platforms besides just global warming. They're basically a "we're going to destroy ourselves if we don't change a lot of things now!" kind of party.

I completely agree! There are a million other ways in which we are quickly destroying ourselves, you don't need global warming to blame Mankind for its own destruction. :P
