I have questions! First, what are you majoring in? Second, I'm familiar with turrones, but what is a mayorca? Third, do you also speak Spanish? I met this girl back in time, she was Puerto Rican, but even though she could fluently speak and read, she couldn't write in Spanish, it was a little strange, but she told me why later. Fourth, what was the doujinshi?!
Ooh, nice! &hearts First! I'm majoring in Communications. I was originally considering double-majoring in that and English, but they're too many classes, so I may just end up minoring in English. Second~ Mallorcas (I misspelled them, whoops) are a type of Puerto Rican sweet bread~! They are sooo good. The name comes from an island in Spain. Third! I am totally fluent in Spanish! I'm not just Puerto Rican, but from Puerto Rico, so I learned it in school as a first language alongside English. At the same time, though... My Spanish writing isn't the best cuz I tend to speak more English than Spanish. But it's really more along the lines of spelling, like "decisión se escribe con 'c' primero o con 's'?" Fourth~ This! Sob, it's going to be my first doujinshi, and I know it's ridiculously over-priced, but I've been so hooked on Nabari recently and this is like, the one crack pairing that I approve of... I couldn't let it slip away!
Oh, Communications! That sounds interesting, what kind of classes do you take? Those Mallorcas look delicious, I'm feeling kind of hungry now haha.
I see the difference now :) Sometimes I have the same issue with English, and even with Spanish when I'm thinking in English. Do you prefer one of them?
Oh, Nabari! I have a friend who's really into it, she tried to convince me today with a really funny macro. I watched a couple of episodes and it really didn't catch me, but maybe if I give it another chance, it will.
Another question, I saw the BSB friending meme in your profile, I'm intrigued, are you one of those BSB fans that hates Nsync?
Lol, I haven't actually taken any Comm classes yet (the registering process here was not in my favor..) My first one is next semester, and it's basically an intro course called Comm Media~
Mmm, yess... I had to put them away cuz they smelled too delicious. I'd eat them all in one go xD;;
I usually prefer English when I'm on the internet, but in person I think Spanish sounds cooler. I speak a mix of bother with my friends back home
Nabari's really good~ You should try reading the manga. It's a lot better in terms of character development, and I hear the anime's ending isn't the best. There's a really important event that happens around chapter 50 or so that they cut out in the anime. To be honest, I started really liking the series after that happened. (I didn't really sympathize with one of the characters until much later on, so I felt like they focused way too much on him.)
xDDD yessss! I am a super fan of the Backstreet Boys, alas. I got super nostalgic back in like February (I never tire of linking to this.) I can't really say
( ... )
Dooooood, we should totally go! Wagamama's deliiiicious! I need to see what my exact plans are for the day, cuz I'm pretty sure that's the day I'll be headin' to Dingo's~
