oh, to be fair, it was more than two weeks. I had about eight weeks notice on the layoff, had been wanting to get out of the stress and politics for a while, and had thought about teaching full time (in my dreams) previously. (It helps that I teach out of my house - I may have a limited class size, but I have guaranteed priority on the teacher's calendar. ;) I tried applying to a couple different positions, but had no luck, and then my husband and I started in with the spreadsheets and the forecasting and the budgeting. So, it was longer, but still fast. And we consider thisan experiment. His job is also a little insecure, so I may back behind a desk in a year... But I hope not!
