Come to think of it, I believe Ned said something to Emerson a few episodes ago about "contraptions." Er. I have a feeling they manage somehow.

They did imply a couple weeks back that Chuck has walked in on Ned when he was...filing some paperwork. Possibly more than once. I'm sure they work it out somehow.
