Today I followed progress to its logical conclusion, all the while assuming it was taking me where I wanted to go. When I reached the inevitable end, I found I was not where I wanted to be, and was forced to pursue a different path. So it goes.

And that Willa Cather story continues to be terrible. My Antonia and O Pioneers are vastly superior. I finished Kafka's Metamorphosis though, which while I enjoyed, I'm not sure that I understand at all.
