Hi, I'm one of the mods at the LJ community, icons100.

I wanted to make sure that you were aware that the subject that you hold, "Dog's Breakfast, A: General Movie," has gone past its 10-week deadline.

Do you still want to make icons for this topic (in which case, you'll need to request an extension at the subject claims list (http://community.livejournal.com/icons100/1732314.html ))?

If I don't hear back from you by February 22, 2008, I'll assume you're no longer interested and remove you from that claim.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, I'm really sorry. I'd completely forgotten about doing that. And at the moment, I don't think I'm able to. A lot of college and family stuff to do. I should have said something, but it always slips my mind.

Could you remove me from the list? It'd be better for everybody. And I'll probably try again at a later time, when I'm more prepared and ready.

Sorry again, Rob.

Oh yep! I remember you. Haha. I'm gonna friend you back! ;)

And I love BSG. I only started watching it back in October, I think. Because I were'nt really interested. But I got hooked and now I'm trying to get Saz to watch the first season.

Yay for getting people hooked on BSG! *g* I didn't actually get into it until summer last year. I'd always meant to get around to watching it but never had. Then a lovely lady on my Flist bought me the mini and S1, which I watched in about 4 days, and I hooked 4 lief! XD

Mr. Rob, I believe you can help me! And your Sarah agrees. ;) :P I'm thinking of going into photography and as you're doing a photography diploma, I thought perhaps you could give me maybe some advice and a realistic view of what the course is like. :) If you like, you can email me back at sarah_liverpool@hotmail.com Thanks, hun! :)

Yeah, sure. :) I don't mind helping. If you tell me what you want to know, I'll try my best to make sense. LOL. What type of Photography course do you want to do? That sort of thing.

There's a lot of work involved, like research and technical notes and evaluations. But it is fun. You kinda get into the swing of things eventually, and the workbooks just churn out. Heh. :D

Thanks hun! You've answered a lot already, about what the course entails (so it's not just sitting on my butt taking pics all day, lol). But I didn't know there were different types of photography courses *sheepish* My goal is to have my own shop doing portraits, etc, but I expect to have to work for someone else first (maybe local journalism).

How costly is it regarding cameras, like how many do you need to buy? I assume you learn all about photoshop, too?

I'm glad you said it's fun. I've been out of school for about 5 years so was worried about gettign back into the swing of things.

There's the A-Level, BTEC or National Diploma. It depends on what the college offers. I tried A-Level first, but it wasn't that good. It was like a classroom, and we didn't do much practical or learn much. So I quit that and decided to apply for the National Diploma. It's a full-time photography course, so you don't have to worry about doing other subjects ( ... )
