Depp should not have used the accents in Alice; I cringed every time he whipped out that brogue. The story was eh and the set design was pretty low-key for a Burton film. We could have done without the final battle - jeez, what a choreographed failure.

That's a great way of putting it: Burtoned out. And yes, the final part of the movie was pretty fail all around. Painfully cheesy. I was wondering about the weird Joan of Arc/Victoria visuals they were using on Alice at the end as well.
