heehee, I think a lot of people hate reading about food or hearing about it, but I want to remember delicious meals so that in the future when I am trying to think of where to eat, I remember that place! Sorry it made you hungry though, haha!!
YAY! Are you coming to the rehearsal this weekend?
hahaha, I don't mind reading about/seeing delicious food, but I had just woken up and not eaten anything yet xD
I hadn't heard anything about rehearsals lol...Andrew hasn't emailed me details yet :S and it really depends on Sydney's schedule, since she's our ride...but I doubt it, since gas is so expensive :/ also, Brandon said he'll be free that night, so if we need anyone to take pictures for us, he'll bring his gear!
If he wants to take pics it's cool. We are having the guy who does the covers of the Westword do a photobook though, so we will have some pro photos taken. In April, Andrew is going to have a book published with the photos!
There is so much awesomeness in this post I don't even know what to say. First, I didn't know you got a pitcher for winning of employee of the year--that might be one of the best employee recognition presents I've heard of (far better than my last job with its digital photo frames and iPods--silver pitchers last).
Second, listening to a Strad in RL is amazing. Beyond your plaid clad neighbors it sounds amazing.
But most of all? That dinner. Artichoke tortellini--yum. And that dessert? It sounds amazing. (And makes me want to try to replicate it.)
I wouldn't mind an ipod actually! The silver pitcher will def last forever, I know I'll be too lazy to polish it though, haha. I will prob keep it in its box until I get my own place.
And dinner was amazing. Denver's restaurant week is coming up... I foresee a reservation there in my future!
Dude, I heard from Lauren that you got Employee of the Year! AMAZING and you totally deserve it! Awesome job! ♥
lol, I am such a symphony/theatre nazi, too. (Okay, maybe not Nazi, but c'mon people! STANDARDS!) I was surprised when I went to the Symphony in Germany and I didn't see a single pair of blue-jeans or tennis shoes. In fact, a lot of the people had walked to the theatre in tennis shoes but then changed into dressy shoes once they got in. I nearly applauded.
I highly appreciate when people make an effort to dress nice on special occasions. Even if you have season tickets, you should dress respectably. That is prob the biggest downer about Colorado to me is that it's such a laid back hippie/cowboy casual culture. SO ANNOY!
You know you really have to stop being so like awesome and cultured all the time. Lol! I feel practically neanderthal when I read your LJ and just see sparkles as I read entries like this!
Congratulations on employee of the year!!!
Its been ages since I've been to any thing remotely fine artsy *sigh* I do need to get out more!
Lady Gaga's grandma XD! Perfect description!!!
I'm excited to see you next week, and like Phen I probably can't make it to the rehearsal. Sorry.
I have a teeny tiny confession to make. Even though I am helping to plan the fashion show extensively, I will not be attending O_O I am going on a sudden roadtrip :(
We'll have to plan a smaller meet-up again soon! I want to see you girls :)
