I called Duke University this morning to see if they had any studies on PCOS trying to play it cool & the lady told me there were no current studies. I told her I was informed there was and to give Duke a call since they were taking applications and looking for people on a PCOS study. She stood firm on her NO . Yes they may be running a "by invite" study, but they have no "public" studies that someone just ringing up can join.

The person you spoke to may not even know the "by invite" is occurring, or has been told to not mention it if someone just calls in asking about joining a study.

That's alright. I got information on another PCOS research project there and I am a possible condidate but it would require a move to Durham or a 2 hour communte 4 times a week for a total of 16 hours a week on the road.

Oh as far as the other one I called about a DR that's working on the research gave me the head researchers number but who ever answered the phone is playing dumb or maybe she hasn't heard about it yet. I don't know.
