But well, if he's old maybe he's already lived his life, had his career? Or perhaps he just never had enough ambition to do anything else.

That's a very sympathetic view on his situation and probably very inaccurate, still, if you ever find yourself thinking these things when imagining somebody elses life, consider the good things as well as the bad, nobodies life is perfect, and nothing is too late to change.

It's funny how there are so many different lives out there... and we only think about ourselves. It's a bit overwhelming to think of things like that Mark, so I avoid it! ^_^
