Just a friendly suggestion...

You may want to open up the case and make sure all the cards are sitting in their respective slots properly. Just give them a lil pushdown to make sure. Also check on the cables to the hard drive and make sure they are secured. And lastly, check the monitor cable to see if it's firmly connected. :)

Also, any thing that is obstructing the fan, like wires or something will make the computer shutdown pretty quick from over heating. I should have taken a look at it when I was over there, but I didn't know.
