I really like those 2 together. Has been really fantastic being inside Joe's head and working out all that stuff, what he would do, how he would be, I have really enjoyed it. Is also a very interesting way to write with another person, responding to what they say or do directly. Magic created an absolutely wonderful female character too- I think ME said a few chapters back too, she is very strong. I think the crux is that you know that she would be Ok, she is firm in the world, even if she never met Joe Byrne. Of course it is good that she did, but she is a person in her own right, not his add on.
