I... I truly don't have words to describe how much I love this fic. The journey it kind of felt like I took, it was beautiful, and peaceful, and sweet, and heartbreaking and just so many things I loved it. The music the wonderful images you have left in my mind ( England's spring cleaning with Queen, Chopin, The Rolling Stones, Mozart and everyone else mentioned. is one that is just lovely, and then France coming in) And just so many other wonderful ones there. I am so glad I went with the whim I had to read this (especially since I am awful with names and it took one chapter of reading and wondering could this be... until I checked to see if you were the same author of the lovely Sign a New Agreement with Itunes fic) and I have to say again you've made me fall in love with FrUK (even though i haven't stopped loving them, this fic made me feel like I was doing so again ( ... )

Oh gosh, thank you so much. Okay, so it's a gorgeous comment, and I'm pretty much blushing as much as your icon rn, so, um - oh, thank you. Just. Thanks. :'D

Edith Piaf
The Beatles
Jacques Brel

Oh, I'm in love all over again. Coherence, what is that. Those little inserts. That scene - Within You Without You, and Sgt. Pepper's - that almost killed me, I swear. And rather randomly, this:
They pickpocket him back, really. They could set up a gang and rob banks vaults, but they are so lazy.

Everything is gorgeous. And painful, because, damn, nothing should be such an experience to read. I'll shut up before (or, just after) I start babbling like an idiot, but. Oh. ♥.

Never stop writing, will you?

And the same to you! Every time I meet someone who has even heard of Brel, it leaves me grinning all day, so thank you for that mention of him. And for posting this, which I completely forgot in my original comment but mean wholeheartedly.

I - You. Just, oh, you. I turned on the computer, right, thought to myself, oh hey, let's watch Doctor Who, maybe check my friends page on LJ, and then work on that damn essay. Watched DW (argh, cliffhanger), checked my friends page - and, hello, I'm not going to be doing that essay, am I.

So let me warn you in advance: This is going to be incoherent and silly and inane but this is what you do to me, okay, so it's entirely your fault. I mean, you just have a beautiful way with words. You have to know that, right? You take these short, everyday, domestic little scenes and you make them come alive in these short paragraphs (and I love your parentheses, never stop using them ♥) - and your prose, I want to marry it. There are so many things about this and they're all jumbled up in my brain right now but - yes, okay - there was a little bit you wrote about Francis noticing Arthur's clothes and how Arthur's so well put-together when he goes out, slim, well-fitting clothes and everything, and then when he gets home it's jumpers three sizes ( ... )

DW CLIFFHANGER OH MY GOD - sorry, derailed here. Oh. Hello. :D

I'm sorry? :D /hugs you and, just, you - I'm going to take your comment and keep it close, okay, if you don't mind. It's so very lovely. &hearts&hearts I love that you love the clothes bit - I rather like to focus on clothes, and you know Francis does too, he does, he does. (Although I would say Arthur has good taste, per se - he uses clothes more like a shield, I'd say, when he goes outside, and inside he's free to wear what he likes regardless of how people look.)

And fft you noticed the Saturday thing! I wondered. And catastrophes in motion - aha, that's one of my favourite bits &hearts

I'll take bought macaroons, gladly :D or even virtual macaroons, I'd settle for that. And Your Song is a lovely, aching song, and a good place to drown in. Thank you, my dear - this exists because of you, after all. &hearts

Despite Arthur not liking Robbie, I very much like to imagine him taking a little bit of Robbie into the bedroom and waving him in Francis' face and Francis liking that. Je T'Aime Moi Non Plus - that's the song with the lyrics that are something like 'pushing between your kidneys' and the English were like 'GASP ANAL SEX TAKE IT OFF THE AIR WHY ARE THE FRENCH SO VULGAR' right? ... you know, I'm sure we have that on CD somewhere. Oh, I thought Coeur de Pirate was Quebecois? Can't stop remembering Freddie Mercury in the I Want To Break Free music video. And I'm so proud of myself for knowing much of your notes... +1 for the ex-British colonies rofl

What are you? :| seriously

Gosh darn just - crap I'm always shit when I read amazing things like this. You're like, I dunno, what are you, amazing. Just, I reread Sign a New Agreement a few days ago and was very satisfied with how happy I felt and then this... This is this is what is this.

I'm very much in love with this. That argument, in the first part, that ends with "MIKA is not a ( ... )

Je T'Aime Moi Non Plus - aha, I don't know if it's about ANAL SEX OMG; it's very certainly about sex, in the end, although metaphorical sex in the lyrics themselves. The THE FRENCH ARE SO VULGAR thing is certainly spot-on, though. :D and Coeur de Pirate is most certainly quebecois - I put in French, agh. Have to change that.

And, just. &hearts you're so very lovely, and your comment is getting my heart on fire. Enjoy the music, I certainly did. And I'll gladly take the blame, if I can transfer some of it over to fireblazie. Don't collapse. And thank you. /hugs

oh man, seriously? i had no idea. thanks!
