i long for the days when my family was just plain dysfunctional. it's truly broken now, and i don't think there's anything that anyone can do to fix it. for as long as i can remember, i've felt drawn and quartered by the different members of the family. sure, they're all different people -- but everyone seems to be going off in their own ( Read more... )

Yes, Chris, dysfunctional, but no matter how you feel, how you try to fix it, you are not alone. I have been trying to fix it for many years, and I think fixing it is beyond my abilities.
You are a wonderful person, Chris. I know, this is Mom.
The best thing I know for us to do as a family is to continue to love each other.
