Well, I'm not saying they should be felt sorry for, because, well, they eat people.

I'm saying we should educate ourselves, and prepare accordingly for the coming onslaught.

Put less faith in helmets, and the like. We must understand them, if we are ever to defeat them.
For they are not to be shown mercy, or pity.

I did not consider that. ...but if they knew that much about anatomy, you'd think they would also leave a human's arms and legs alone.

A legless, armless zombie makes a lousy zombie.

I think the "brains" thing is just Hollywood spin on a real life crisis facing mankind.

Another good point.
I'm deciding the brains thing is just an old wives tale. Purely apocryphal, anecdotal information, though.

All the zombies I've ever seen, they don't eat brains. I'm not sure why.

I'm intrigued. I never considered zombies as misunderstood. Except for in Shaun of the Dead. Poor chained up dog-like zombie.
