and you thought alienware was awesome...

hell, even dell sends you lil asians when your computer dosnt work. asians can fix anything computer related. maybe instead of outsourcing to india and mexico for tech support they should outsource to japan. i mean $1 US is like a million yen.

Haha, yeah, thought being the operative word here. Turns out every one of their tech support people sit around and dont really know how to fix the problem. I have had to fight with them all break. Somewhere in the 2 year warranty I have, they neglected to say, we'll take it back, but only when we're satisfied that there is nothing more you can do to fix it there. I think it would have made more sense for them to have some third party affiliate away from Miami that could honor my warranty with them and fix the damn thing. Next computer I'm getting is gonna be a dell.

Have an HP as well and it's a Crapbox...ironically the only computer that has ever been reliable is my POS 400 dollar dell that I bought in 2003. Never had one problem with it. Sadly it's just really slow. But the Celeron processor is 2.6 ghz and very stable...doesnt require a lot of power. I just put in a gig more of memory into it and the only thing it lacks now is a swift agp card...but anyway. Moving back tomorrow!

Yeah, woulda gotten a mac if only for the operating system and the lack of another 1000 dollars. But oh well. Athlon is coming out with a multithreading dual core chip early this year that runs at 4.6 ghz. In a few years I'll be able to design a system around that hopefully. The alienware would ahve been fine if the video card or the power supply or whatever is damaged on it was functioning...but whatever. I shipped the sucker back and now I'll just be holding my breath til something else goes wrong with it.

Ps - did you get a new roomie?

Pss - What the hell are you talking about with different parts of the alphabet and what not? So confused.
