I'm kind of freaking out, so I thought I'd share my freaking out with my friends: I'm going in for surgery on monday. If it works out the way the doctor thinks it will, my vision-loss will stabilize and I'll be more or less able to see out of my left eye for the remainder of my life. If it doesn't, my left eye will be more or less useless to me
