ryan's dad has that camera & it's really nice & a little heavy. & i dont like the idea of the view (the picture screen), you will have to keep open & close it.

i like a camera that already have the screen on it, not have to open & close it, ya know?

but, you should get it since its cheap- $281 & 5.0, 3x- its good price cuz it tends to be about $350 to $500!!

ah i see. the screen can be turned backward n forward. wld be great for self-portraits without croppin heads off! heh not only that i will need a camera for my backpackin' on the appalachian trail, the screen wldnt have to be scratched. u know? i am still weighin' :) thanks for ur advice tho!!

The screen doesnt always have to be opened and closed...
you can flip it over and leave the exposed screen all the time if you want. i just flip it over when I plan to store it for a long time or will be going thru rough spots (to prevent it from being scratched)

I got the Canon Powershot A80 (almost the exact same camera you want) and have been very happy with it! Excellent picture quality and I love to be able to shoot short movies with it too. Highly recommended!
