every year i was on the activities board, a rumor would start that we were getting dave matthews. people would freak out, and then be really mad. like DMB would ever freakin come. I don't think he plays schools at all...unless it was to the tune of like 200k

Oh totally. People are like "what about Fall Out Boy?", yeah, for what? $250k? Something rediculous. We're a public school with no notable alumnus, we get no money. I think the most ridiculous thing was seeing the Big Boi of Outkast was going for $100k, the lesser member -alone- was going for that much. So shitty.

outkast was one of the only shows at towson that ever even sold out. and that was light right before they reallllly blew up so that was pretty cool. towson people didnt even come out to most of the shows. when we got the mtv tour with the used and mcr that one year, most of the people who came werent even students!
