It was difficult but through peer pressure and significant amount of enlightened coaxing by my better half I pre-ordered an iPad 3G-16GB. Shortly later I came across an article insinuating I can add said device to my existing Rogers Data Plan without additional cost. That made me feel a bit better for eating the 3G premium

Daniel and I have been semi-joking around about getting one to "install" in our new kitchen. It would be kind of handy to look up bits of info, recipes, phone numbers, etc...
