I think I like your B as it's telling the reader there are "Better Days" to come for the whole family. It's nice how you've written Ryan as being completely open with his thoughts and emotions. I've never known him to cry before and he should have always been able to let go and shed those tears.

Oh Boy!!. I can't wait for Sandy to arrive home. I'm sure Kirsten will have some way to suprise Ryan on Sandy.(that I've got to see!!!LOL)
I'm sure it won't belong before Seth turns up and he'll have his Jesus and Moses stories going on in his mind. LOL
