Today I was checking out what Wikipedia had to say about women's vocal ranges, and as well as the operatic terms I've heard before --like lyric coloratura, dramatic coloratura, soubrette-- there were a couple of lovely terms I hadn't heard before.
They are intermediate voice types between the soprano and the mezzo-soprano:
