I didn't expect my mini-comic entry for the school lit mag to get accepted, forget take first place in the original art/photography category... I suppose I have no excuse to not post it now. :/ Kinda... well, I wish I could redraw it, parts of it make me cringe. Though for having barely more than a week to do it, I guess it's not too bad

Tablets are really useful with the pressure, eh? But the whole thing is sooo hard to get used to, yeah x:

Yeah, I was trying to go for exaggerated curves to make an interesting pose, but I was worried I went to far! ;; I think I've just been looking at it too long, I need to take a break from it. P:

They are! I'm just baaaaarely figuring out how to get the pen where I want it, eheh. Just takes time, I suppose~

A break just before finishing picture, is always useful. I tend to leave my works overnight just to woke up in the morning and look at it with fresh approach... And usually it ends with re-drawing the whole thing while thinking "wtf I was thinking yesterday?", lol xD"
But you did a really nice job here~ she looks kinda proud and confident standing like that C:

And yeah, I know that pain, after years of using mouse I had really hard time geting used to a tablet (and that why I still doesn't have one- I'm just borrowing it from a friend sometimes, lol) and I still prefer to do some things with a mouse.
But- I hope you will get used to your new baby fast! C:

That's a good way to do it, definitely. You can see a lot of mistakes you didn't before with fresh eyes, or realize the parts you thought looked awful aren't really so bad! It helps so much to get input from someone else though. XD
