I liked Colby's reminiscences about coming out and how peoples' reactions had differed from what he'd expected. I'm glad it got him Ian :).

Shy!Ian, even if he was only there for a moment, was a nice thing to see, something just for Colby. Go Colby for decking that guy before he knew what reward he would get ;).

That's lovely! I really enjoyed seeing how each member of the team responded to Colby coming out; it was all very much in character. And it makes sense that Colby didn't want to live with any more secrets after all he'd been through.

In case you couldn't tell, I loved this. Coming out fics and person-defending-their-lover are two of my favourite things in fic, and to see them written with my favourite pairing was just the icing on top of a very yummy cake. And you pegged the team's reactions perfectly, I think. And also Colby's family. /pets him/ And then awesome!Colby being awesome and standing up for his man. So often Ian is written as the protector in Ian/Colby fics that it's wonderful to see their roles reversed. And rawr at the ending!

Once again, I really loved this fic. /hugs it and squeezes it and calls it George/ Thank you so much, you rock like a rocking thing!
