First I'd suggest not posting on Fridays. Fridays are dead on LJ so whoever gets that posting date might not get read as much as the Mon/Wed people. How about M/T/W? Those are, as far as I've seen, the liveliest days on LJ.
Second, I have final exams the week of the 18th so if I could have my posts (both) the second week I'd really appreciate it. (That is, if it's okay with T_vo and CP.)
Finally, my assumption is that both artist and author will do posts on their own LJs for the content and the post here on the comm will just link to both. From what I've seen in the past the author normally makes the comm master post and the artist provides their link to the author to use. Is that how you're thinking it might go?
Hmmmm... we have a number of students participating. I'm wondering if you're not the only one with exams. I'm more than happy to schedule you for that second week of posting, but if you're not the only one involved, then it might be an idea to move the posting back a week. I'll see what the others say.
But, yes, I can schedule you for the second week with no problems. *g*
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday posting would still accomplish what I was trying to do. I was thinking of Rill in particular, whose fic is huge. I'd hate for her fic to be put on the 'read later' pile because there are other stories following hard on her heels. If she's okay with that first Wednesday, then she doesn't have any competition - so to speak - until the following Monday but is still in the thick of the posting. I like that idea. *g*

Yep, that was the basic idea, like what numb3rs_bigbang did last year. My only

Gah! I've never had wanted anyone else to code my long pieces. It's too rife with potential misunderstanding and a lot to ask of a comm mod.
I hadn't thought many people were doing summer school, but of course it's not summer everywhere. /grins/
I only do one post per day so I have to post my own fic over two days, but I tend to handle that on my own by backdating the first post and basically posting them both at the same time on different LJ days. /shrugs/ I'm weird, I know.
But yeah, I suppose if people want to post the whole shebang on the comm its only a few more posts than 1 even if it's superlong. I mean, about 10-15K per post, even a full on novel gets done in a handful.
Whatever you decide is fine, but I definitely would appreciate not having to post while I'm in finals panic mode (which is the week of the 18th AND the week of the 1st since I have both 6 week and 8 week courses this summer).
You've got first dibs for the second week for both your fic and art, so don't panic. *g*

Yep, I can understand that! I certainly wouldn't be offering to do the coding/posting. I'm happy to give pointers, but that's as far as it goes. It would be nice to have the fic and art together for each collaboration, but I'm not creating a rod for my own back to get it. *g*
ACK! I haven't had the internet for 7 days!!!!!!!!!! I just got back today to see that the drafts were due today. I have all but one thing ready but I haven't been able to email Rilla about them because... no internet. Gah. Where did I move???
Rilla's given me the okay on all the other art. I have just one more icon I want to make for her. Are we supposed to email these to you? (I wasn't sure!)
I'll get it all done tonight. I still have 2.5 hours to make one icon. The only hold up is... I can't find the right caps for it. LOL. It's been fun being part of the fandom again. I haven't felt inspired in months and then last night, without internet, I just finished off the art for this and then wrote fic for the n3teamchallenge this morning. Maybe I need to be without internet more often?
The only reason I need the art is so that I know that all the authors have something to go with their fic. *g* So you don't need to send me everthing, sweetie, just something to let me know Rilla is covered.

Thanks again for doing this!
