That was one of the greatest lines... EVER. I use that bit of canon in my fic all the time. Colby's love interest loves to give him a hard time about his cheerleader obsession. ROFL.
Oh, this show. God, I miss it.
Thanks for keeping these discussions alive with your reviews hon. My life has been chaos lately so I appreciate it!
Dear, I love doing the reviews, I wish I have more time! please tell me will have a little pause sooner! :D I have to correct the subtitles versus cc, make the caps, write the reviews and get my daughter to check the English for me! Can't do all in only one week + life! lol!
It was interesting to learn more about Margaret Eppes. Too bad she never told the boys that she liked to compose music. It was also nice to see that Don hadn't forgotten how to play piano and read music.
This is one of my favorites: Rob playing the piano. And Cheryl Heuton just confirmed to me on twitter, "Yes, Rob was really playing the piano. He practiced in advance with a teacher." How cool is that?
This is a sweet ep--about lost beliefs and finding new ones. Larry and Charlie are so cute out in the wind, timing Ron as he runs. They like him and believe in his genius and they're so hurt when he betrays them.
After Ron is hurt and the FBI is there-isn't it supposed to be a little later the same morning? I understand why Ron changed out of his sweaty running clothes, but why did Larry and Charlie completely change after eating their 'dogs?
Great line--"I was quite quixotic in elementary school" Oh, Charlie, I suspect that is an understatement!
Makes me want to hug the stuffing out of Larry--"I would go beyond the boundaries of the observable universe to defend you and you know that."
I love the way Don and Charlie keep glancing at each other as if to make sure the other is as amazed when Alan is telling them about Margaret's music.
Probably ranks very high as one of the loveliest tags--Charlie and Alan talking about Margaret just as Don begins to play her music. Echoes of their mother live on.

From the dialogue before, I think the run was in the afternoon, Larry and Charlie went to dinner, Ron to work at the DNA lab, at night, where he was attacked. And the scene with Colby and David earlier in the next morning... make sense? :)
Larry: Well, undoubtedly, more interesting when discussed over dinner. Do you care to join us for an oki-dog? Ron: As much as I hate to run, and run, but I... I barely got time to shower. I'm doing calibrations over at the DNA lab most of the night so...
Aha, that explains the clothing changes--but as a medical professional, my mind goes to: was Ron unconscious for hours? Then he needs to be in hospital. And if not--why is he still there, with a head wound the next morning? Makes no sense to moi.
Why are they investigating the following morning when the crime occurred nearly 10 hours earlier?
you are so right! :) Maybe to assure his alibi (as Megan said: the security cameras give him a hell of an alibi.), Ron pretend to been unconscious until someone founds him and call the police. probably the first person who arrives in morning... this way, when they checked him, he was ok... the missing point could be a medical professional to be suspicious about the total time Ron's supposed to be unconscious... what do you think?

The plot was also interesting.

When Don was playing the piano at the end?
*is dead* I was never really a Don fangirl until that moment. That was just a lovely ending to the episode.
