Best/Worst Movies of 2007

Same approach as last year--en lieu of masturbatory comments on this year's best and worst, I will field comments (if any) debating (or praising) my reasoning. Inland Empire proved that, just because you can shoot in digital, doesn't mean you should. And that David Lynch needs to retire before he unleashes another 3-hour sleeping pill on his fans.

28 Weeks Later was decent, but considering how mediocre its predecessor was, that's not saying much. At least it bludgeoned the viewer with overblown action setpieces instead of long-winded speeches.

And Ratatouille just paled next the brilliance of The Incredibles.
