for some reason, I still get annoyed when people say Saddam Hussein refused to let the UN weapons inspectors check for WMDs; from what I've read, the inspectors were allowed in, and were checking, but were just pulled quickly out when they weren't finding anything, thus putting GWB's motives into question.

Yar, and I'm even more annoyed with any response related to that that is a version of "Gah! What does it matter?"
