First sea kayaking lesson up at Beans was, shall we say, awesome. Sea Kayaks are long and narrow with a snug fit, foot pegs, thigh braces and a skirt. I've only kayaked at Karen's place along the Presumpscot, over a mile stretch between two dams using recreational river kayaks- short wide, just a seat, no skirt (quite the rush trying to hunker down

you've found your niche my friend. I'm so happy for you. I read your journal entry and found myself being swarmed with a vast array of emotions, most of which were good ones for you. However, I find my self sad also. You've moved on my friend. I'm happy for you. Congratulations. Hopefully, while you're building life into exactly what you want it to be, you remember to keep room for the old friends. I truly am happy for you Eileen. Everything seems to be working out for you. So, um, how would you respond if I asked you to move back to good ol Colorado? I need a roommate... (don't cringe, I'm just kidding). Maybe, if you'll have me out there again ever, You can take me sea kayaking. Can you even imagine how exciting that would be? Seeing as the ferry almost made me pee my pants.....
