One more hurdle

ENT examination this morning. The gentleman doctor was kind enough to shove an illuminated hosepipe up my nose, bless him. After poking around for a few minutes, and between my contribution of multiple noisy dry heaves, he pronounced my ears, nose and throat a cancer-free zone. As I said, bless him ( Read more... )

great news about the check up, but...

oh no!

poor you. i was just cringing as i read the story. how mortifying and scary all at the same time.

what is it about men and not being able to accept when you shouldn't be driving? sorry to be a tad sexist on that... but i'm thinking of my dad who drove with a neck brace on after a serious spinal op at the age of nearly 80, and H who thinks he can drive more competently than he can and has taken more than one risk (with my car of course :(

ok, lecture over... take care huh? you'll be all lungful and independent before you know it.

I'm surprised you even thought to ask this question! Surely by now you know that all men are completely stupid when it comes to driving. It's as immutable as Saturn's rings. *I* know it, and one of the first thoughts that crossed my mind as I heard that horrible grating sound, was "yup.. there you go... more confirmation..."
