Egads... what a collection! I was like a skoolkid in a sweetshop... didn't know where to start first. Well, here's a list to start me off: 243, 336, 425, 506, 644, 676. I hope that's not being too greedy.
I've been trying to read some serious stuff while cooped up here, and quickly abandoned the project. Instead I wolf down stuff from Cussler, Ludlum and the like. You know, airport blockbusters that are as thick as they are wide but with the intellectual content of a teabag. So I'm pretty sure you don't have any of that laying around! Thanks for asking anways.
I've read some Tom Clancy, and found him suitable for the circumstances. Never heard of Patricia Cornwell. And, of course, have all James Bond and Agatha Christie!
ooooh... does that mean that australia kicked england's arses in the ashes? hahahahahahahahah :P
that was just a gimme i'm afraid :)
Geez, T, will you stop trying to get rid of those lungs? it's too scary.
I'm glad you got back into the west wing. I think you're quite quick to write things off, but i'm glad it managed to hook you in eventually.
I'll come in again soon with some more stuff. I've never asked about your french, but H has a whole collection of some lovely old french comedies that you might like if your french is up to it. but i also have a few seasons of csi and some seasons of deadwood that i think you'll like. and other stuff of course... it's almost endless!
Aside from that, I've just finished Series 7 of West Wing. Although I liked it a great deal, the end left me feeling a little bit unsatisfied. i dunno. Maybe Santos should have turned out to be a worm or something...
I'm ravenous for anything you could pass my way. Promise I'll watch everything right through until I pronounce on its worth to me!
My French is very good (should be after 20 years) but I cannot stand old French comedies. I just find them unfunny. I've watched enough cause Arlette is a big fan of Don Camillio, etc. Louis de Foounes..... and the rest. As far as I'm concerned the only good comedy to come out of France recently has been the Bronzes!!!
Apologies for the delay in replying, I've been out of it again and have only just surfaced.
heh heh... i know you don't *really* hate me, even if my cricket team are smarty-pantses and yours are pathetic :P
I thought you might have been under the weather again. I haven't been in as I have a cold and I don't want to splutter germs out the side of the face mask.
ok, i won't bring the french comedies then. soon as i'm not crook anymore i'll come by with more viewing goodness :)
