lol, my paid account expired, so I can't add in lj notes anymore. Which means that I can't add notes like, "(suchandsuchusername) on tumblr, (soandso) on twitter" etc. Which is how I keep a ton of people straight.
Well, same here, but I have people that have went like, "Hey, do you have a tumblr/etc?" So I have added them on tumblr, but everyone has different usernames for everything. So when I get a reminder of who they are (through conversation or something, idk) I like to put it in their notes.
Like for example: I am numbereleven here, culkinator over on tumblr. If you have a bunch of lj friends and a bunch of tumblr followers, you might forget which is which, particularly if you have a lot of people with the same interests, like Buffy or something. So if I mention on tumblr my username on lj, you could go into lj, click, "add note" and write, "culkinator on tumblr- the one with the stupid glasses, etc."
